Celebrating Pride
Portland Pride includes two marquee events. The theme this year is “Made with Pride.”
Waterfront Festival
The Portland Pride Waterfront Festival runs noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 18, and 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 19.
It’s held at Tom McCall Waterfront Park — only about a block from the Old Town/Chinatown, Oak/SW 1st Ave and Yamhill District MAX stations. Take the MAX Blue Line or MAX Red Line to these stations, or stroll down to the Waterfront from another MAX station or one of our many nearby bus stops.
The festival will have local food, entertainment and a Maker’s Market. Headliners include drag performers Lushious Massacr, Deja Skye and Tenderoni.
Visit trimet.org to plan your trip! Be sure to select your intended travel date, as weekday and weekend schedules for bus and MAX lines may vary.

Pride Parade
The Portland Pride Parade begins at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 19.
The parade route starts in the North Park Blocks, at the intersection of Northwest Broadway and Davis Street. It proceeds west to Northwest Naito Parkway, then south to Southwest Harvey Milk Street, ending at the site of the Waterfront Festival.
The NW 5th & Couch and NW 6th & Davis MAX stations are right by the parade’s starting point. Take the MAX Green Line, MAX Orange Line or MAX Yellow Line to get there. Multiple bus lines stop nearby on West Burnside Street.
Please be aware that delays on TriMet are possible during the parade. TriMet works with parade organizers and the City of Portland to keep everyone safe. Buses and trains that cross the parade route may have to wait for a short time, before proceeding safely after parade groups have passed.
