Headed to Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show this Friday, July 17, at Providence Park? You can save money when you go by TriMet!

Your ticket to the concert is your ticket to ride TriMet. Just show your concert ticket to your bus operator or a TriMet Customer Safety Supervisor when asked for proof of fare. Your ticket is valid for up to three hours before and after the show.

If the nearest bus stop or MAX station is too far to walk or roll, you can drive to one of our many TriMet Park & Ride locations! Parking is free for transit users, up to 24 hours.

Keep in mind that on big event days, like Providence Park concerts, the 600+ parking spots at the nearby Sunset Transit Center may fill up quickly. Other Park & Rides may have more available parking spots and may be better options for you. Just go to our Trip Planner at trimet.org, click under “Change/add travel options,” and select “Drive to Park & Ride” to find a convenient place to park.

The Providence Park MAX Station, right across from the venue, is served by the MAX Blue and Red lines. Several bus lines also stop near Providence Park, including:

You can also walk or roll to Providence Park from the Portland Transit Mall or other stops and stations in the City Center. Your trimet.org itinerary will show you the best way to go!

Going by TriMet can save you money on parking fees and fuel. Event parking near Providence Park, including for Friday’s concert, costs $7 an hour. Parking north of West Burnside Street has a 2-hour limit. With TriMet, you don’t have to pay steep fees or risk a parking ticket — just hop on board, and we’ll get you to the show. 

Ticket2Ride

We’ve teamed up with the Portland Thorns and the Portland Timbers, so your ticket to games and concerts at Providence Park serves as your proof of fare on TriMet and the Portland Streetcar.

Please note that Ticket2Ride only includes Portland Timbers and Thorns games and concerts at Providence Park and other select events. Portland Fire and Trail Blazers tickets, and tickets for all other Moda Center and Memorial Coliseum events, do not count as TriMet fare. Ticket2Ride also does not cover trips on WES Commuter Rail.

All-American Road Show

With 11 Grammy Awards and four certified platinum albums, Chris Stapleton is a country music legend. He is the fourth headliner to perform at Providence Park since it reopened for concerts in 2024.

Grace Potter will also be featured as a special guest at the Portland show. An icon in her own right, she’s known for her collaborations with Kenny Chesney, the Flaming Lips and more.

Friday’s 7 p.m. concert is a one-time opportunity to see Chris Stapleton and Grace Potter in concert at Providence Park. The show goes on next week in Montana, British Columbia and Washington.
