Why ride?
There are lots of reasons to take TriMet!
Save Money: Have you heard? Street parking fees are going up in Portland, including at the Rose Quarter. Event parking costs even more! It’s free to park at TriMet Park & Rides, so leave your car behind and take the bus or MAX the rest of the way. TriMet Park & Rides are located throughout our service area. Find the nearest location to you at trimet.org.
Stress Less: Those parking fees can really add up, but a parking ticket is even worse! Finding a legal parking spot can be tough around the Rose Quarter, especially on game day — not to mention the headache of traffic. Save yourself the hassle, leave it to the professionals and let TriMet do the driving for you.
Stay Safe: Daylight hours are getting shorter, and rain and fog are rolling in, which can make driving a challenge. And no matter the conditions, it’s never safe to drive drunk. Whether you enjoy a few libations with the game or not, the safest way to get there and back is by taking TriMet.
Support Sustainability: Cars cause congestion and pollution. Shrink your carbon footprint and keep the roads clear by riding with TriMet instead. Transit helps to reduce traffic and promote a cleaner, healthier environment.
Show Out: When you take TriMet to the game, you’ll be riding along with fellow fans! Wear your Winterhawks gear and get ready to cheer on the home team. By riding transit, you can be sure to arrive in style.
