Small, temporary route adjustments will help keep bus lines that serve Clackamas Town Center Transit Center on time
The hustle and bustle of the holiday season brings some changes for riders on buses that serve Clackamas Town Center. On seven days in late November and December, we will temporarily detour buses that use the mall’s parking lot to reach Clackamas Town Center Transit Center. By making this slight, short-term adjustment, we’ll do our part to decrease traffic in the busy parking area. This is the seventh year we’ve worked with Clackamas Town Center to make this change, to help keep everyone moving.
29, 30, 31, 33, 34, 71, 72, 79, 152, 155, 156
- Friday, Nov. 29
- Saturday – Sunday, Dec. 14 – 15
- Saturday – Monday, Dec. 21 – 23
- Thursday, Dec. 26
1 p.m. – 6 p.m.
When the detour is in place, bus stops at Clackamas Town Center next to the MAX station (ID 13247 and 13248) will be closed. The stop for buses arriving at Clackamas Town Center mall (ID 12921) will move to a temporary location on Driveway #3, which runs between the movie theater and Monterey Avenue. Buses will then travel to the SE Fuller Rd MAX Station to transfer passengers to the MAX Green Line. Buses will board customers at the Fuller Rd station before continuing to the Clackamas Town Center mall stop (ID 12922). We will have Customer Service staff onsite, to help with directions and answer questions.
During these service adjustments, make a plan for your trip. Give yourself at least 15 minutes extra to make connections and transfers. Remember to dress for the weather, as the temporary stops do not have shelters.
The Clackamas Town Center Transit Center MAX Station will remain open. The detour does not affect MAX Green Line service.
Options to connect with MAX Green Line:

Shop and ride safely
Shoppers are welcome to bring bags and packages on board buses and MAX trains, but please make sure they don’t block the aisle, stairs or doorway. Hold on to your belongings while riding and double-check your seating area for items left behind before exiting. Please keep security in mind when using a TriMet Park & Ride or any public parking lot by locking packages and anything of value out of sight. Experts suggest keeping your car’s interior “showroom” clean – as if you just drove it off the showroom floor.
We thank our riders for patience and understanding during the detours. We make these adjustments to serve you better and keep buses throughout the lines running on time. If you need help around the detour, contact TriMet’s Rider Support team. They’re available 24-hours a day when you text 503-238-7433 or tweet @trimethelp. They can also be reached by email or calling 503-238-RIDE (7433), between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., seven days a week.
