TriMet gears up for NCAA fans as March Madness comes to the Rose Garden Arena

With the NCAA Tournament coming to the Rose Garden Arena this Thursday, March 15, expect crowded MAX trains and limited Park & Ride options. The games begin at 10:40 a.m. and run into the evening Thursday, with additional games on Saturday, March 17.

MAX Service

All four MAX lines serve the Rose Quarter, and riders should expect full trains near the area Thursday evening, especially during rush hour. Riders should purchase round trip fares so it’s easier to board trains following the games. Extra MAX service will be added as needed both nights.

Eight bus lines serve the Rose Garden Arena.
