TriMet prepares for a busy Wednesday night
Whether taking in the last Portland Trail Blazers game of the regular season or heading to Providence Park for Portland Timbers action, TriMet takes you there on Wednesday, April 13. Bring your enthusiasm to cheer on the home teams, as well as some patience. Heading home, both events may end at about the same time so expect crowded trains. Extra service buses and trains will be used as needed.
Don’t worry about parking near the Moda Center. All MAX lines serve the Rose Quarter area. Six bus lines – the 4, 6, 8, 35, 44 and 77 – serve the area and provide a convenient ride.
Green and Gold! Green and Gold!
MAX Blue and Red lines drop you across from Providence Park. Bus lines 15 and 20 serve the park. Timbers express buses also run before and after the game between Downtown Portland and Providence Park. Catch the buses across from MAX stations at Mall/SW 5th Ave and Galleria/SW 10th Ave beginning about 90 minutes before a match. After the game, board express buses across from Providence Park’s main entrance on Morrison Street at 18th Ave. The buses will drop off at three MAX stations (Library/SW 9th Ave, Pioneer Square South and Mall/SW 4th Ave) to connect to parking garages and MAX Green, Orange and Yellow line trains. Standard fare is required on express buses.
Fare is fair
Whatever your sport, make sure you play fair and pay your fare. Avoid needing to make two purchases – one before and one after the game – by buying a day pass. It’s the same price as two 2-½ hour tickets.

Enjoy the action, but stay safe
Don’t get so caught up in the action that you don’t cross safely. Please pay attention and stay alert when crossing MAX tracks and streets. It takes just a moment to be aware and look both ways.
