Weekend-only service begins Saturday, May 2; daily service begins Memorial Day

Hop on board TriMet’s Line 83-Washington Park Loop to visit all the popular attractions in Washington Park. The seasonal bus line begins weekend service Saturday, May 2, and daily service beginning Memorial Day, May 25. Fares will be required this year.

  • Portland Children’s Museum
  • International Rose Test Garden
  • Children’s Play Park
  • Japanese Garden
  • Hoyt Arboretum
  • World Forestry Center Discovery Museum
  • Vietnam Veterans of Oregon Memorial
  • Oregon Holocaust Memorial
  • Hiking trails

Line 83 runs about every 20 minutes from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the weekends, with daily service running from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It returns to weekend-only service after Labor Day through October 25.

5/14 Update: TriMet will extend service until about 9 p.m. starting Friday, August 7 through Friday, August 14 for the Washington Park Summer Festival concert series in the Rose Garden Amphitheater.

The Washington Park Loop connects with MAX Blue and Red lines and other bus service in downtown Portland. Just catch 83-Washington Park Loop across from the Providence Park MAX Station or at the Washington Park MAX station. During Portland Timbers matches, Line 83 will not serve the stop near Providence Park due to street closures. For schedules visit trimet.org/line83.
