Important work to extend life of asphalt will close sections of the lot
Maintenance at the Tualatin Park & Ride, originally scheduled for August 12 and 13, has been rescheduled for the weekend of August 23 and 24. Rain delayed the work. On Saturday, August 23, only half of the Park & Ride’s south lot will be open for use. The other portion of that lot as well as the north lot will be closed. On Sunday, August 24, the north lot and half of the south lot will be open, with work closing the other half of the south lot.
As an alternative, riders are encouraged to use the Mohawk Park & Ride, located at SW Mohawk St and Martinazzi Avenue. It is opened seven days a week and has 232 spaces. Bus lines 76 and 96 serve the Mohawk Park & Ride, or you can plan an alternate trip with our interactive Trip Planner map at ride.trimet.org.
This is the last of six Park & Ride lots on the west side to have the pavement re-sealed this summer. We appreciate users’ patience and understanding as crews complete this critical work, which extends the life of the asphalt and keeps the parking lots in good condition. Similar work was completed at Park & Rides on the east side last summer. Signs have been posted at the lots affected in advance of the closures and information posted on our service alert page at trimet.org/alerts.
