Expo Center Park & Ride closes for Portland Swap Meet

Riders should plan ahead, use Delta Park lot

The 50th annual Portland Swap Meet takes to the lot at the Portland Expo Center this weekend, April 4 through April 6. To make way for the vendors and booths, TriMet’s weekday-only Expo Center Park & Ride spots will be unavailable on Thursday, April 3 and Friday, April 4. TriMet’s closest Park & Ride to the Expo Center is the Delta Park/Vanport Park & Ride, with 304 spaces available seven days a week.

Along with the Portland Swap Meet, Cirque du Soleil’s Totem is wowing crowds at the Expo Center as well. The show began Thursday, March 27 and runs through Sunday, May 4. The MAX Yellow Line is the easiest way to get to both events, dropping you right across from the Expo Center. Just make sure you plan some extra time and expect crowded trains.
