Light rail construction to close SE Adams Street at 21st Avenue in Milwaukie beginning October 21

by

Two-week closure will allow installation of tracks between Washington Street and Lake Road

Portland-Milwaukie Light Rail Transit Project construction in Milwaukie will temporarily close SE Adams Street and 21st Avenue between Washington Street and Lake Road to all traffic, October 21-November 3. The 24/7 closure will allow crews to construct light rail track crossings across both roads.

Northbound and southbound traffic will be detoured onto Lake Road. However, vehicles with a height of 10’6” or more will be detoured onto SE Washington Street and SE 34th Avenue. TriMet bus line 32-Oatfield will be detoured to SE 27th Avenue. Local access will be provided to businesses and residents in the closure area.
