TriMet’s Washington Park Loop line extends nightly service during Washington Park Summer Festival

The seasonal bus line will run until about 9 p.m. August 1 through 10

TriMet will extend service on the Line 83-Washington Park Loop to help concert goers enjoy the sights and sounds of the annual Washington Park Summer Festival. The seasonal bus line will run until about 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 1 through Saturday, August 10 for the duration of the festival.

Washington Park Loop service

The Line 83 runs about every 20 minutes and winds through the park to the Washington Park MAX Station as well as to JELD-WEN Field in downtown Portland to connect with other bus lines. This is the 15th year the bus line has served Washington Park, making it easy and convenient for visitors to take in the summer festival and all of Washington Park’s well-known attractions.

Take the MAX to a concert at the zoo

The Oregon Zoo concert series continues to rock the summer. MAX Blue and Red line trains are the most convenient way to get to and from the zoo. Avoid the hassles of trying to find parking and enjoy the tunes with fellow music lovers, like those caught on camera did on the MAX platform following the recent Indigo Girls concert.
