TriMet prepares for Race for the Roses impacts

Fourteen bus lines on detour; minor delays possible on MAX

The Albertina Kerr’s Race for the Roses half marathon takes to the streets in and around downtown Portland Sunday morning, April 14, 2013. TriMet riders may experience some delays and detours.

MAX service impacts

MAX trains may stop briefly at a handful of locations to allow runners to pass by. Riders should plan for minor delays.

Bus service impacts

From 5:30 a.m. to about 12 p.m., 14 bus lines will be detoured due the event. Those lines are 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, 15, 17, 19, 35, 44, 54, 56, 58 and 77.

Take TriMet to the Race for the Roses

The half marathon, 10k and 5k races all kick off from the Oregon Convention Center. The MAX Blue, Green and Red lines stop at the Convention Center, as does bus Line 6-Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
