MAX trains/buses deliver fans to Blazers & Winterhawks games
Leave the driving to TriMet when heading to the Rose Quarter to cheer on the Portland Trail Blazers or the Winterhawks this month, but don’t forget to purchase a fare. The Rose Garden and Veterans Memorial Coliseum will be seeing quite a bit of action in the coming weeks. All MAX lines, as well as six bus lines, serve the Rose Quarter and provide a convenient way to get to and from the games.

Fares required

Sports fans heading to the Rose Quarter area on the MAX need to purchase a fare since the Free Rail Zone is no longer. Fares are now required throughout the TriMet system on all trains and buses.

Fans can avoid making two purchases – one before and one after the game – by buying a day pass. It’s the same price as two 2-hour tickets.
