MAX trains/buses deliver fans to Blazers & Winterhawks games
Whether heading to a Portland Trail Blazers game or a Winterhawks match, avoid parking and driving hassles by taking TriMet to the Rose Quarter. The Trail Blazers play their first home game of the 2012-2013 pre-season on Wednesday, Oct. 17; and the Winterhawks have already had a handful of games at home this fall.

All MAX lines, as well as six bus lines, serve the Rose Quarter area and provide a convenient way to get to the game, but don’t forget your fare.

Fares required in former Free Rail Zone

The Free Rail Zone, which had included the Rose Garden and Memorial Coliseum area, ended September 1. Sports fans heading to the Rose Quarter for the first time this fall should remember fares are now required in that area and throughout the MAX system.

Avoid needing to make two purchases – one before and one after the game – by buying a day pass. It’s the same price as two 2-hour tickets.

Day Pass Fares
Adults:                        $5
Youth:                         $3.30
Honored citizens:       $2
