MAX maintenance work in downtown Portland will impact riders on Sunday morning, Feb. 26

Shuttle buses to provide alternate service through 9 a.m.

Maintenance work on the light rail system in downtown Portland early on the morning of Sunday, Feb. 26 will impact the first five hours of MAX Blue and Red line service. The first two hours of Portland Streetcar service will also be affected.

MAX/Shuttle bus service

Shuttle buses will serve stations between the JELD-WEN Field Station and SW 3rd and Morrison/Yamhill stations starting around 4 a.m. through 9 a.m. Buses will pick up and drop off riders at, near or across from most MAX platforms. The Yamhill District MAX platform at SW 1st and Yamhill will be closed during this time. Riders should plan for minimal delays.

Portland Streetcar/Shuttle bus service

Shuttle buses will also serve the entire route of the Portland Streetcar system for the first two hours of service. The buses will run close to the frequency of the streetcars. The buses will pick up and drop off riders at, near or across from most streetcar platforms. Four stops will not be served; signs will point riders to the closest stop.

Plan ahead
